"Pros: Super friendly and helpful hosts, especially as we messed up our arrival arrangements, but this did not faze them. Excellent safari and visit to the elephant transit centre. Home-cooked meals provided as and when requested. Cold beer and wine available! Cons: Maybe a little more variety in choice of meals would be nice, but not a problem if you are only staying a short time.Not much else to do in the area other than safari and transit centre. "Pros: This is a beautiful private bungalow a short walk from the main house in a landscaped garden. It was spacious and well appointed. The meals were deliciously prepared, generous in size, and are served on the rear balcony where you can look for wildlife and listen to the call of the animals and birds. The bathroom was modern and spacious, there was no hot water when we were there but we asked for a thermos of boiling water and a bucket and managed a good wash - hot water is being organised soon. There were travel adapters and USB plugs supplied in all the power points which was an excellent idea. The wifi was good. The owner was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable and arranged our safari at the nearby Udawalawe National Park. Cons: Nothing in particular" ~Leanne
