"Pros: Super location- five minutes stroll from the centre of Ascona and five minutes from the bus stop to Locarno. Coop and Migros nearby and a lovely MiniGolf . Extremely clean and well appointed. Lovely terrace

"Pros: Host is very warm and friendly - just bear in mind communication is in German only (nothing Google translate cannot fix!)
Perfect location (five minute walk to the promenade, 5-10 minute walk round the corner from supermarkets etc) - street parking (first come first serve) + garage for those who don’t have a 4x4!. Also, dog friendly.
Pictures could do with being updated as they do not do the apartment justice! It is a lot bigger than the pictures suggest.
An older fashion decor (see pics) which we did not mind at all as very clean and comfortable + well equipped kitchen and bathroom (coffee pods & machine, towels, cleaning products etc)
Apartment has three bedrooms (one double, one double that is made up of two single beds and one single bed room) two large balconies, two bathrooms one with shower and one with a corner bath - plenty of areas to sit and dine (large outdoor table, kitchen bar stools x4 + indoor table and two large sofas - perfect for two couples or a family.
There is plenty of bed linen and towels in the apartment.
Cons: Nothing at all. We will be back (hopefully with better weather)"
