"Pros: the apartment is detached and completely self contained on the ground floor with own front door in a secure position. Very quiet location, free easy parking right outside. You enter straight into the living, dining, kitchen room. There is a good fridge/freezer, oven, and 2 ring hob, dishwasher, microwave oven and coffee machine. Personal towels are provided but you will need to bring a dish cloth, dish towel and oven gloves as these are NOT provided. There is no washing machine and nowhere to hang washing. The double bed is very comfortable and there are double doors opening onto the courtyard. There is a bath with shower over. The property was very clean and tidy. Extra heaters are provided. Foreign travellers will need to bring up-to-date adaptors as the old round plugs with 2 pins will not fit. These adaptors can be bought in most shops. There is no shop in the village, the nearest shops are in Chatel-St- Denis, they close at 7pm and 4 pm on Saturday and are closed on Sunday. Although the sofa turns into a bed this property is really only suitable for a couple. You will need a car to stay here. It is a great location to explore this beautiful region, the motor way is quite near. Cons: The toilet door! It is a sliding door and there is no handle on the inside so you cannot even shut it, there is no lock. The hot water to the bathroom sink is almost non existent. There are no cleaning materials of any kind. A dustpan and brush would have been very useful. There is no view from the property (not a negative - just saying)." ~Andrew
