"Pros: There was so much to like about this property.
The location was spot on. Parking adjacent to the property costs 6 CHF per day (very reasonable), but isn't always available at peak times (it is the railway station car park). I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and had no problem parking, but when I left mid afternoon on Monday 2 cars were waiting for my spot.
The hotel was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the small bathroom was clean and perfectly adequate for a night or two. The shower was amazing!
The self check in was smooth, although I personally would like to see a little more cover over the key pad where you key in your access code outside the building.
Secure wifi was appreciated, as was the water in the room. Only a coffee machine (no kettle) which suited me fine, but 3 coffee capsules and only 1 creamer was a bit odd. I just went downstairs and bought some more creamer though. The train station offers a couple of decent take aways and there are several restaurants nearby.
There is a supermarket underneath the hotel which is open 7 days a week from 6am - 11pm.
Cons: The one issue I had, was after specifically requesting a quiet room, I was put directly above the Coop supermarket. This meant I was plagued by the noise of the constantly opening and closing sliding doors. Aside from that the room was actually quite quiet but the noise was annoying."
