"Pros: This is an excellent hotel located within old city walls. It's definitely better than your normal 3-star place. Staff very professional and friendly. The hotel is next to number of nice restaurants. All in beautiful medieval town, next to a lake. Great stay. Cons: Nothing (regarding hotel). It needs to be said, though, that the Booking's offered option with breakfast included is something to avoid, I think. Breakfast is only served in close-by restaurants and hotel suggests to pay there directly. "Booking's breakfast" would be just a coffee and a croissant, typical French breakfast. Also I was sure I booked two rooms (one for 2 people) and the other for single occupation. It turned out I understandably had to pay extra (for the second person in room) as booking turned to be two rooms for 2 persons." ~Artur

"Pros: We especially liked the cozy and elegant atmosphere of the room. The location was also ideal since Zimmerei is in the centre of the old town of Murten. We also ran into the owner at one point who was really friendly." ~Michael

"Pros: Outstanding hospitality and very central location. Generous supplies of products for breakfast and very thought through details around the house, also for the kids. The appartment is very beautiful and decorated with a lot of care - we’ve enjoyed our stay very much!" ~Daria
