"Pros: The apartment is a pavilion, very clean, complete with amenities, and Monica, the owner, was very friendly & generous, even offer me with free bottle of wine. Location maybe not for everyone as outer side of the town center, but perfect for us as we prefer staying in local house like visiting family. Would highly suggest to everyone.
Cons: If the pavilion had a heater might be better for people from Asia like us"

"Pros: It's a cosy small house at the back of a farm. It has a kitchen fully equipped. You can park your car in front of the house. There is a terrace which you can use. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed by 2 bottles of wine and local beer. The place is just 25 min drive to Lake Constance (25 min to Rorschach, 1 hour to Germany and less than 1 hour to Austria). There are wonderful places around (Mount Säntis and a nice old town Appenzell). The price is quite reasonable.
Cons: We were disappointed to see that there was no good view of the mountains from the house, the only thing you can see is the driveway and tall trees . Behind the guest house there are cages with goats and rabbits, there is no smell but sometimes at night you can hear their noise, not quite disturbing. We spent 3 summer days there when the weather was too hot (+33C, +91F), and the bedroom upstairs was unbearably hot in the daytime (no AC). But in the evening and at night the temperatures were very comfortable."
