"Pros: Very handy for the bus station and the night market (& the new must see boat museum) I had one of the hostel type rooms in this rather nice hotel. Can’t speak for the proper rooms (though breakfast in the hotel restaurant looked great ). Hostel rooms are on a mezzanine floor (not attached to the lift) probably old storage area converted into a social area overlooking the restaurant and 5(?) lockable cubicles just a bed width wide. Great WiFi good electric points comfy bed and towels provided - everything you need and lots of space for a suitcase (as long as you don’t plan to spread out) staff helpful (mandarin only I think) Cons: Only annoyance (mentioned elsewhere was that there really is nowhere in the bathroom to hang anything - just the window opening). But hot water good - I couldn’t get the shower head to behave but probably just me! Floor to ceiling partitions so no light from adjoining cubicles but might be some noise if you have inconsiderate neighbours Just one flight of quite steep steps to the rooms" ~Catherine
