"Pros: Our room was clean and spacious and the twin beds were comfortable. The guest house seemed very new and fresh and it smelled lovely too. We chose the location because it is close to the train station. There are some good places to eat around there too, but we caught a taxi to get to the ocean front promenade. We appreciated the fruit platter and the concern the owners showed us when there was a severe typhoon approaching. Cons: Everything was good." ~Anne

"Pros: Convenient and close to Hualien station. Very cozy and clean vibe. Good facilities and good price. Has an elevator! So don't need to carry bags up the stairs. Cons: Water provided in water filters gets too hot in summer so cannot drink." ~Evans
