"Pros: We happened to stay there during the 2024 Hualien earthquake. The hosts were amazing and a source of great comfort to us and other guests. They went out to fill the fridge with drinks, fruits, snacks, etc, and were always available to answer any questions we had. They got breakfast for everyone. They called a taxi for us and given the road closures, walked us to the pick up point. They also checked in with us after we left to ensure we managed to catch the train. We liked the location of the property, which is near the beach and great for running. It is also close to the night market. Parking was easy. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The tv also has streaming services. There is a bidet toilet. The property has a shared washing machine, and clean drinking water on the first floor. The hosts have an adorable dog called Ah Jiu, whom we loved. No complaints at all - while we wouldn’t wish an earthquake on anyone, we are so grateful we were staying at this accommodation when it happened. Cons: Nothing" ~Angela
