"Pros: My wife and I stayed here for five nights. Although the main attractions of the Taroko Gorge were closed, we chose to explore the city of Hualien and discovered many charming spots. The hosts were incredibly kind, and we enjoyed our evening conversations with them in the kitchen. They provided us with excellent recommendations for things to do in Hualien, including lovely restaurants, scenic walking trails, and immersive cultural tours that dive into localities. We especially loved exploring the beautiful east coast and relaxing in the nearby hot springs.
