"Pros: A two bedroom apartment in a complex comprising multiple tall blocks overlooking Xiaobitan. The washing machine and balcony area to hang washing to dry were a great bonus during our two week holiday. We didn't really use the kitchen as there was a huge range of takeaway food and coffee shop breakfasts nearby. Close to an MRT station with connections to the city. Nice riverside parks nearby. Lots of convenience stores, cafes and takeaway food shops. The locals were very friendly, keen to try out their English and to make us welcome." ~Andrew

"Pros: The breakfast was pretty nice and the staff (especially the breakfast lady) were nice. It was a good location for our purposes and there were cute neighborhoods nearby. Cons: Part of the reason we chose this hotel is that it said it had free parking. When we arrived at 4:30, there were no spots left. There were some spots that were full of things that you couldn’t park in. They told us other people were faster. They did tell us that we could park in front of another car and when that person needed to leave, they would call us to move ours. This wasn’t a great solution because we left for dinner and to explore the area. Luckily, we found a cheaper place to park a 10 minute walk away. That wouldn’t be very convenient with suitcases and adds onto the cost of the hotel stay." ~Debra
