"Pros: We absolutely loved staying here! Elisabeth and Alex were really welcoming, and the rest of the staff simply wonderful. Delicious fresh breakfast, fruit, juice and coffee every morning to start the day right. Super comfy room and the best shower after a hot day at the beach! Everything about Kendwa Breeze Bungalows was brilliant and wished we could’ve stayed longer!" ~Laura

"Pros: We had a very pleasant stay at the property. Lovely accommodation and grounds and generous breakfast provided. Staff are great, very accommodating. We walked and found our way around the area. There are plenty of shops / stalls, restaurants etc. Bajajis available if you don't like walking. We found taxis to be expensive in Zanzibar. Cons: Property was on point. However, upon arrival at the airport, we we told we had to purchase compulsory medical insurance at an extortionate rate of $44US, otherwise we couldn't leave the airport. Apparently this was implemented for all visitors to Zanzibar last year, applies whether you travel via plane or ferry. Everyone who got of the plane was annoyed as we were unaware of this. This is outrageous! The insurance is not worth the paper it is printed on. We had insurance policies that far exceeded medical emergencies but this was not accepted." ~Colette
