"Pros: Beach, pool, location , mostly friendly staff, security. The recreations organiser, Khatibu, was a real treasure - very friendly, a genuinely nice guy. Likewise Adam who seemed to be at every restaurant we visited. Several pool and beach waitresses, including Neema, were very good. Cons: Power/water/AC outages, food, aggressive vendors on the beach , lack of hotel information on arrival and in room, one or two waiters at the Beach cafe did not seem happy in their work. On day 10 I developed a nasty rash on my back - doctors back in UK are still trying to find out what caused it. My wife has conservative tastes in food, preferring English food, and had trouble finding anything she liked on the dinner menus." ~John
