"Pros: I had an amazing stay at this hostel, especially as it was my first time staying in one! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, with special shoutouts to Adrian, Safe (the Masai guy working the evenings), and the cleaning and cooking ladies. They all went out of their way to ensure I had a memorable experience. Every morning, the cleaning ladies made sure to tidy up the room and bathrooms, which was a nice touch.
Even though it was low season, the hostel still had a great vibe with plenty of people to meet. The breakfast was excellent, and I appreciated how they worked on a 3-day rotating menu and I stayed there for 7nights. As someone with a pepper allergy, it was amazing that they not only remembered but also went out of their way to accommodate me.
The location of the hostel is perfect—close to a bank, a snack shop, and within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants. I particularly loved the beds, which came with mosquito nets and privacy curtains for the lower bunks. Most of the beds also had charging plugs, which was very convenient. They provided fans to keep the room cool, and once it filled up, they turned on the AC in the evenings.
Overall, this hostel exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Cons: There was only really 2 things, however they where closing down for some renovations and I did mention it to the Manager.
1.The mattresses wasn't so comfortable but it was manageable
2. When going to the bathroom for a shower there wasn't anywhere to put your things down except for the floor." ~Bakkes
