"Pros: The decor/ambiance was unparalleled, from the statuary to the koi pond, the garden like setting was absolutely idyllic. The owner, Maarten, along with the staff, were so helpful, warm, and welcoming. I felt like I was returning rather than visiting for the first time. Cons: They have unfortunately been struck by a settling issue beneath the central common area pagoda, the perils of the island geology, no doubt. They assured me they needed only wait for low season to effect repairs that would necessitate a fortnights closure. This is really not a complaint, as the sagging situation amid the beautiful setting lent an "ancient temple" vibe that was rather charming." ~Collin
