"Pros: This is a beautiful building, beautifully finished all in wood. I'm assuming teak. There are large seating areas with an open balcony on both floors, so you can escape the heat of the day and read. The bedroom was a good enough size. Huge and comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Good shower. Lovely touches like a welcoming rice and banana snack and a gift bag of lovely soap. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. There is a library, which has an amazing range of books about Thailand and Lanna culture. We found a good one on the Wat murals and a couple on textiles. The hotel is well placed in the middle of Nan. We had a car and parked in front of the hotel. Great place. I'd stay again.
Cons: Nothing. In an ideal world, a view from the room would be a bonus, but it's a hotel in the middle of a working town, so this is not a problem" ~Barbara
"Pros: Location is very good, close to morning and evening market. Breakfast is available at the noodle shop nearby. Shared pantry is available. The owner is very nice and helpful.
Cons: Since the hostel is very small, we need to walk up a lot of stairs. 1st floor is reception. 2nd floor is pantry. The first available rooms are on the 3rd floor which are for 3-4 people. For 2 persons, the room is on the 4th floor. So, if you are young and like walking up and down the stairs, this hostel will be perfect for you. For us, it’s quite troublesome to walk up and down 4 stories." ~Kunnikar
"Pros: Very clean, tidy and groomed hostel with very friendly hosts in the center of Nan city. The little room with your bed is almost like a private room. Everything was spotless clean, with a nice interior and like on the pictures. I could also store my luggage during my scooter trip in the province and they give me good recommendations for a motorbike shop
Cons: Nothing." ~Adrian
