"Pros: For a mature property, this hotel is well maintained with good amenities. Upon check-in, I was thrilled to be upgraded to a 5th floor double room with excellent A/C in both rooms and incredibly sea and sunset views. The pool area was always clean with sunbeds always available. And if you want a change of scenery yet still with the option to swim, beautiful Karon beach is just a few steps up the road. Similarly, while the hotel offers full restaurant services, the many shops and restaurants of both Karon and Kata are less than a 2 minute walk away. The staff at this property really made all the difference. They are always available and ready to help you with any queries and provide much appreciated advice. The lady on the excursions desk was particularly helpful. Cons: Unfortunately, the breakfast was quite disappointing as I found the Thai options poor but the staff were always happy and helpful which made the experience less negative." ~Amazonskye
