"Pros: This is a magic place, with beautiful grounds, an excllent swimming pool, and a very well maintained garden environment. The rooms too are very appealing and have good views of the surroundings. All was very quiet and peaceful and there were no tour groups during our stay. Front desk and breakfast room staff are very accomodating and have good English. Breakfast was just fine. We did not eat dinner in the restaurant but there is an excellent and welcoming Thai restaurant 200 metres away on the beach. Don't hesitate! Cons: The very big down side - as mentioned in many other reviews - is the outdated and noisy airconditioning. Either it is not being properly maintained or it is simply just old and needs replacing. Our first night it broke down completely and we had to change rooms at 10pm when we were already in bed! Solid maintenace work is needed if the owner wants to keep his clientele." ~Graham
