"Pros: the apartment was satisfactory. check in was fraught by the owner's mother who does not speak english. she had to call her son so that we could speak in english. there was plenty of space. Cons: the apartment was very basic. the coffee pot was hassle because the filters were not the proper filters for that machine. i made do. the owner made a comment about him not being a coffee drinker. perhaps he should think about his guests who may be coffee drinkers. all the closet space was taken up by the owner's possessions. i had to move their belongings to make room for mine. again, thinking about the guests would make for a homier experience. lastly, the furnishings were basic and the apartment felt rather empty. it had little to no ambience. and one more thing, it is not located along the beach. it is two blocks away, nor is there a view of the beach from the apartment." ~Avi
