"Pros: The hotel is housed in a very old building, tastefully decorated, with every corner telling a story from history. The staff is courteous and friendly, and the rooms offer a great view of the Mesopotamian plains. Cons: There were a couple of minor issues in the room. The sink tap was wobbly, the bottom side of the sink was exposed, and there was a hole in the wardrobe." ~Tamer

"Pros: Overnight stay in the center of old Mardin right by the main street. A place where I felt at home. Atmospheric, although not for someone looking for a 5* hotel. The exceptional openness and kindness of the owner of the Ridvan hotel made you want to come back there again. Delicious breakfasts prepared by Nazan. I also wholeheartedly recommend trips organized by Ridvan, Midyat, Sanliurfa, Gobekli Tepe or Diyarbakır, for him there is nothing impossible to do 🙂 Thank you for a great stay Iwona i Adriana" ~Iwona
