"Pros: Ankahan Konaği is central but secluded. Overlooking the vast plains of what was once Mesopotamia . Our time spent there turned out to be unique & magical. Hotel manger Naïf Omur is endlessly positive , entertaining & terrific help. Our special thanks to Ahmet Kuzu who also took care with anything we needed. We felt blessed to have spent a few late nights sitting under the stars on the spacious terrace while he played his musical instrument & sang to us… & Naïf joined in too! It was beautiful. We will always remember the amazing time we had at Ankahan Konaği - Mardin . We were sad to leave & really appreciated the help Naïf & Ahmet gave by carrying our luggage to the taxi at street level.
