"Pros: Wonderful quiet uncommercialised location. Bit of a drive for convenient shopping but we felt it was worth it to get away from the madding crowds. We were only 8 minutes drive away from an excellent coffee shop that did the most amazing scones. Halfway through the holiday we discovered a fantastic walk up at the back of the property where there was a dis-used railway line with sculptures along the way and lots of wildlife. If you like walking this is a great place and you don't need to get in the car to find a really good walk as you are two minutes from walking around Loch Earn. The interior of the property was excellent and you had everything that you needed appliance wise in the kitchen if you are like us and like to self cater and just do one big shop at the start of the holiday. We especially liked the carport and the covered area from the carport to the front door and although we had a wonderful week of weather, we could imagine this is very useful for a winter booking. There is a little sheltered area, which got the evening sun and where you can enjoy the view of the mountains on an evening which was very pleasant. We had deer coming into the grounds of the property which were a delight to watch and also red squirrels. Overall a really delightful property. Cons: A few loose tiles in bathroom. Legs on dining chairs loose. All window blinds need attention, particularly bedroom. TV was a bit awkward to control No house welcome pack – helpful to have some local information – walks etc. Outside space felt unloved. All outside furniture rickety – not really fit for purpose." ~Alison
