"Pros: We booked 3 nights at this hotel. When we are at the hotel, we feel like, we live in a museum. Everything is perfect. We stayed at Alexander Great Suıte. The room is comfortable and clean. There is a terrace at the top of the hotel. The Terrace can be the coolest place in Samarkant;)" ~Alican

"Pros: The bed was comfortable, clean sheets and towel. The 6 bed dorm was small and cramped, and there was no common space to hang out. The " garden" is a little concrete square. The location indicates it's very close to city center, but it's not close to Registan square and the places travellers want to visit. Overall I was disappointed, considering all the positive reviews about the warm welcome here. It was difficult to ever find anyone to come to the reception area. And you must pay only cash." ~Marilyn
