"Pros: Beautiful design, decor, and grounds - nestled in impressive gardens. Loved our bamboo hut (suite). Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Casual family guest house atmosphere with high quality hotel services. Cons: Did not like their rigid practices related to relatively little costs in context of all that we were spending with them on accommodation, meals, and services: eg - being charged for each small cup of coffee - no refill with breakfast or dinner; - being refused happy hour pricing after check out time despite two of us spending that entire 3rd day (after 2 night stay) using their expensive spa, restaurant, & transportation services and our bill remaining open until our evening departure after dinner! - being charged for an accidentally broken soap dispenser after 3 full days of giving them business." ~Sonia
