"Pros: The location was good with restaurants and food shops close by. Good transport was within walking distance. Cons: The windows did not have block out blinds so the sun shined in your face extremely early in the morning. An eye mask was necessary. Although the room looked clean there were places around the shower that did not look clean. There was no wardrobe or chest of drawers for clothes." ~Les

"Pros: I left a high rating for FiFi Apartments because I support small businesses. However, I want to write an honest review that does not match the rating. I understand that these are budget apartments, but they can be improved without additional investments. What I liked: - Perfect location. It’s right in the center of Warsaw. There’s a metro station, a supermarket, and the main train station nearby. - The apartment is quite clean. - The apartment is very warm, making it a pleasant place to stay. Cons: What I didn’t like: - The WiFi didn’t work. Communicating with the owner didn’t help, and it wasn’t fixed. For three days, I had to use my mobile data. - Musty towels. This is a common issue in short-term rental apartments. Towels are often washed quickly at low temperatures, which doesn’t clean them properly. As a result, they smell musty after the first use and become unusable. This issue can be easily resolved by washing towels at 90°C at least once a month. I ended up doing this myself. Thankfully, there was a washing machine in the apartment, but I had to buy detergent. - The metal bed frame squeaks terribly, making it impossible to sleep on. I kept waking up at night because of it. I had to sleep on the sofa instead, which wasn’t very comfortable either. The bed just needs to be lubricated with a special product to eliminate the squeaking. - There’s no frying pan in the kitchen. It’s a small investment but would significantly improve the experience. - There’s no microwave in the kitchen, but I assume this is due to the low price of the apartment.
