"Pros: Nice and warm welcome, no problems with communication, because host's son helped out with german over phone. Shiny new appartment. Very quite area, wonderful opportunities for hiking. Cons: if I really need to seek for a downside: I missed a microwave or a stoven in the, otherwise well equiped, kittchen. "Pros: it's an amazing remote location, house is surrounded by woods, no traffic noise reaches the place. A staircase leading to the first floor is comfortable and my two-year old and a limited mobility guest that stayed with us were able to go up and down the stairs without any issues. The house is spacious and bright and very clean, with flower pots on the windows seals and windows overlooking wild garden and surrounding woods. Kitchen is well equipped. There's plenty of spare blankets and pillows. Also provided are: iron, hair dryer, washing machine, air clothes dryer, hoover, pots and frying pans, cutlery, plates and other bits and bobs. There's a chopped wood ready to use in a shed outside if you want to use a sauna or jacuzzi but note it takes a while to heat up the jacuzzi (in our case it was more than 2 hours). There's a small sand pit for little ones to play in but the terrain is not fenced so I had to constantly watch my highly energetic toddler. The owners are really responsive and visited to talk and ask if we are ok and if there is anything missing/needed. Cons: It was generally a really lovely time we had at Stasinka and there were just two little things that are worth mentioning: the access road to the property may be a bit challenging for less experienced driver (but manageable with a regular car - quite old Toyota Corolla and Nissan Juke tested in practice), there are motion-detector triggered lights at the property that switch on and off throughout the night - but there are no blackout curtains which means two of the bedrooms get a lot of artificial light at night. We ended up hanging some spare blankets on the curtain rods to block the light out." ~Malgorzata
