Relaxing spa facilities at Roppokan include an outdoor hot-spring footbath that overlooks the surrounding nature, outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths and a sauna. It offers serene Japanese rooms, karaoke facilities and a terrace. Free WiFi is provided at the lobby, and massages are available. Offering soothing views of Chikugo River and the rural landscape, rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor, a seating area and traditional futon bedding. They’re equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and an attached bathroom. Some rooms boast a private hot spring bath. Roppokan houses drinks vending machines and a souvenir shop, and guests can unwind free of charge in the spacious public hot-spring baths, which are separated by gender. The Harazuru hot-spring water claims to be good for the beauty of the skin. A free shuttle is available from Chikugo Yoshii Station. Dining room Nono-Hana-Tei takes pride in their local cuisine, prepared with seasonal ingredients. The ryokan also has a coffee lounge and a terrace, where guests can sit back with a drink. Roppokan is a 10-minute drive from Chikugo Yoshii Station, and a 30-minute drive from Kurume City. Fukuoka Airport is only a 50-minute drive.
