Located on Iwanai Mountain, Iwanai Kogen Hotel boasts panoramic views of the Japan Sea and the Shakotan Peninsula. Having a traditional Ryokan-like interior, it features hot spring baths, a tennis court and free Wi-Fi. The Niseko Ski Area is a 45-minute drive away. Rooms are cosy and fitted with a flat-screen TV, radio and a fridge. Coffee making facilities are provided. En suite bathrooms come with a shower, bathtub and toiletries. Iwanai Kogen has a beautiful Japanese Garden. There are public and private hot spring baths, outdoors with amazing views, as well as indoors. Other facilities include a sauna and laundry. Guests can enjoy meals served in the hotel’s restaurant. Iwanai Kogen offers local cuisine, specialising in seafood dishes. Please reserve dinner and breakfast 2days before you will stay. There are no restaurant around hotel. It takes 10min by car to downtown. We have original brewery "IWANAI BREWERY" Hotel Kogen Iwanai is located right next to the Arai Memorial Museum and the Niseko Iwanai Ski Area is a 5-minute walk away. Shuttle buses are not running. Please catch a taxi from nearby.Grand Hirafu Ski Resort is a 1-hour drive away.

Please note that the hotel offers free transfer from Iwanai Bus Terminal. Guests are kindly requested to inform the hotel in advance if they wish to use this service. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Open-air baths at the public bath area are closed during winter season for the safety of the guests. Indoor baths are operated as usual. Please note that the public bath and exterior walls will be unavailable from 1st Mar. to 30th Jun 2024 due to renovation work.
