The Château Madelinot is situated on Cap-aux-Meules Island, roughly 1 km from the ferry and 9 km from the airport that is situated on Havre-aux-Maisons Island. We are only a short walk from the village of Cap-aux-Meules. The Magdalen Island region is situated right in the heart of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence and is part of the Quebec Maritime region. All of the islands in the archipelago, with the exception of Entrée Island, are interconnected by sand dunes. The 88-km long route 199 runs from one end of the archipelago to the other. The quality and comfort of our accommodations as well as our warm welcome allow us to possess all the pieces necessary for a successful business meeting or for you to have a relaxing vacation. Ferry By Boat The CTMA Group runs the ferry between Prince Edward Island and the Magdalen Islands. The five-hour ferry ride is made easier with the presentation of various shows, movies, games for children, etc. Ferry-Cruise on the St.Lawrence There is a weekly Ferry-Cruise between Montreal and the Magdalen Islands. This 440-passenger service is run by CTMA Group and offers sleeping cabins. Service is available at each stop-over while cars can be loaded and off-loaded at the stops in Montreal, Chandler and on the Magdalen Islands.
