A spacious, completely renovated (2007) holiday cottage with a well kept traditional style. Charming bedrooms on the second floor. Wooden floors in the whole house, except the bathroom. The house is allergy friendly. The biological toilet is completely scent-free and just like a regular toilet. In addition to the house, there is an annex built in stone, with a fire place for barbecuing and a dining table. From the bath barrel, enjoy the view of the fjord and get into the holiday spirit. The bath barrel is heated by firewood and takes 2,5 to 3 hours to heat up. All the beds are of good quality, where the single beds can be combined into double beds, and the double beds can be split into single beds. Boat for rent 4 km away by a floating dock in a harbour, for sea fishing. Common fishing excursions on a fishing vessel can be arranged 50 km away. Life jackets are included. By the house there is a fish cleaning table and a fish smoker. Fish for salmon in the river Eidselva, 4 km away, between June 1st and August 31st. The record salmon catch is 28 kg! The river Hjalma 2 km away has trout in addition to salmon. The lake Hornindalsvatnet offers fresh water fishing in Northern Europes deepest lake with trout and char, with the record for trout being 13 kg. You can rent boats several places along the lake. Horse back riding on Fjord horses 4 km away in Nordfjordeid. Icelandic horses are 400 m from the house. The first week of May has a horse display every year. There are many nice forest roads for you to walk or bike on. A great 9 hole golf course 4 km away.
